Full Circle Book Co-op

Full Circle Book Co-op was born from a community campaign to bring independent bookselling back to Sioux Falls, South Dakota's largest city. Organized as a cooperative with hundreds of member-owners, the store opened in 2018 in a beautifully renovated storefront on Phillips Avenue, the heart of the city's thriving downtown renaissance. The cooperative model gives the community a direct voice in the store's direction, and the result is a selection that authentically reflects Sioux Falls's evolving identity. The Dakota authors section highlights voices from across the Dakotas, while the social justice collection speaks to the city's growing diversity. The in-store cafe serves as a de facto community center, hosting everything from book clubs to neighborhood meetings. The children's section benefits from direct input from local parents and educators, ensuring it meets the needs of young readers across the region.
